The announcement of an “orderly retreat”, by definition, militarily, by, in this case, Ukraine forces is just a thin disguise or excuse for a “disorderly retreat” or “disorganized retreat”, as if Russian military intelligence can’t tell the difference. In an “orderly retreat”, the retreating forces regroup in predetermined/established defensive lines to dig in & face off the invading enemy forces &/or draw them into a trap or vectored cauldron. The Ukrainian military is in no such shape or dispositon to do such an orderly strategic retreat into defensive positions.
