I think the interview was a masterpiece on both sides: two people, each sort of a “king” in his own domain, were able to conduct an intelligent, respectful, and deep discussion on a very complex topic — something American diplomacy is incapable of. The only remaining supporters of this war are the politicians in Europe and the US that are in the inside of the corruption feedback loop. The feedback loop steals money from the taxpayers, funnels it to the MIC, who then funnels a percentage back to the corrupt politicians. The same feedback loop is at work in the Gaza genocide.
This is simply pure evil, on a scale that cannot end in any way except mass destruction world wide unless the average people understand what is going on and stand against it.
Those who have no interest or patience in world affairs would never listen to the Putin interview anyway. Those who are interested in these matters stand to learn a whole lot with this interview, especially those who have been indoctrinated with lies about Russia. As usual, Putin curates his words with attention for a thoughtful, comprehensive presentation to the uninformed west. The Greater World (rather than “Global South”) already gets it.
