Mr Mercouris’ description of the draft agreement coming from Washington reminds me powerfully of a similar set of events. In his biography of John Maynard Keynes, Robert Skidelsky records how, after discussions over a period of weeks at Bretton Woods, the US government presented Keynes on the very last evening with a huge formal document secretly prepared by their large staff of lawyers. Even a man of his capacity had no chance of even skimming it all; but they were required to vacate the hotel in the morning, and he was to sign before leaving! Ha! Shot themselves in the foot. The EU and UK demands return DOnbass to Ukraine, empty of people; How so? Because The EU demand that all Russian military must leave ‘Ukraine’ (i.e Donbass), before sanctions are lifted and their war can be ended, the resident Donbass military who are incorporated into the Russian military, and their families and well-wishers – almost, if not all, the population, would therefore have to leave the Donbass first.
Thx for continuing to provide detailed progress on resolving this conflict. Perhaps the only source on the Internet that attempts to provide different perspectives on unfolding situations. In this episode, you seems to weigh pretty heavily on the absence of continued contact and talks between Trump/Admin and Russia concerning resolution of this conflict, (and perhaps the negative implications that suggest they are lost in some way.)
