Trump is not upset by the killing of Ukrainians, he is upset because of the killing of US and NATO Officers, and the fact that NATO is impotent to do anything about it.
His frustration suggests that these strikes are very effective, and revealing the US and NATO are weak and suffering substantial losses from being involved in Ukraine attacks on Russia.
