I still think Russia will keep its bases in Syria. It may be doing things that make it LOOK as if their position in the region has been weakened – isn’t that the Art of War?? If the Turks are truly keen on/begging Russia to stay, who has the supremacy in that relationship? I agree Rus has its hands & brain focused on the acute situation and tactics in Urkaine right now, and doesn’t want to be side-tracked re Syria, so they make it look as if they’re defeated and losing in Syria to deceive the Zionists/West, but when they are ready, they will return.
Can Isr even launch an attack on Iran given the weather at this time of year – previously IDF has said bad visibility/cloud/fog cover in Iran in winter has precluded their ability to attack in winter.
Saying that the Russians are rushing to gain as much territory as possible before Trump is in office is giving Trump far too much credit where none is due. He has NO power to tell the Russians to do anything. His bluster and bullshit are no different than before and if he had any balls he’d simply cut the money and arms pipeline off and pull all troops out of the border countries. Will he do it? I wouldn’t bank on it. Laden with the neocon warmongers he’s already put in place there is no reason to expect anything positive.
