“Peace” didn’t last long. And Axis of Resistances celebration wrt signing of the MOU must stop now. Iran has re-closed the Strait again today, due to Israeli aggression in Lebanon, which constitutes a violation of the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding and presumed “cease fire”.

Hezbollah has maintained a stout defense versus the Israeli invaders, because supply lines to Hezbollah are operating via a region in Syria; transit of which the Syrian “government” has not so much allowed, as ignored.

Trump’s statement about Syria’s  HTS taking on Hezbollah seems to be something that he’s twisted in his mind. The western media has played the myth about religious difference causing the split between Sunni and Shia Muslims for many decades. The actual reason is the caste system of ruler versus ruled, causing separate political alliances, and great inequality, especially with regard to prosperity and opportunity. But when “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” and Israel is the enemy (also occupying Syrian land for decades) then Trump’s simple-minded view cannot hold.

Israel has occupied an expanded region around Mount Hermon and the Golan since Assad’s terrible miscalculation (ie trusting the west) led to his downfall. And the clash between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continues, despite al Jolani’s statements that the Syrian Arab Army and Syrian Democratic Forces have merged. The SAA see the SDF as being weird foreigners who are still in conflict with them (ie with the SAA).

Likewise the Syrian Democratic Forces apparently control Syria’s oil-producing region in the Northeast, with oil production proceeds going to the Israel/US – backed Kurds. As such, the Syrian government is weak and poorly funded, mainly reliant upon US / Qatari “investment” for income.

Since 2011 when the US inspired the war in Syria that destroyed Yarmouk Camp and effectively created a failed state there, alliances continue to shift inside Syria. Of course Syria’s people are fully aware that Syria is next on the Greater Israel Project’s list for invasion and occupation after Lebanon.

The point is, Greater Israel ambitions (also noted by Turkey, which controls most of Northwest Syria) cannot be ignored by any Syrian government, and the long alliance between Al Qaeda and Israel is not enough to assure Israeli success in Syria.

Meanwhile, Israel may be in a war of attrition in Lebanon with its invasion of the south, to Nabatieh. In a rare moment of clarity Trump might finally recognize that Israel is a most dangerous /malevolent enemy of the former United States, and not only stop arms shipments to Israel, but begin supplying arms to Hezbollah. [That is of course this anti-Zionists dream only… but we can all dream.]

Lastly, Iran has proven to be a formidable foe to the western Empire. By simply maintaining the Strait’s closure and defying the west, that may lead to the collapse of this most corrupt, depraved, and perverse Empire.

As for Hezbollah, we’ve seen different battlefield tactics when compared to Hamas in Gaza, regarding medical evacuation of Jewish “state” invaders. Whereas Hamas typically did not fire on IDF medical evacuations, Hezbollah has no such restriction:
