The INTENT of the US is to destroy Russia and take all its stuff. The US has been engaged on this project for eighty years. It is so obvious to even a non-history, technology, person like me that I can’t understand why the Russians can’t see it. It became obvious in 1991 when there was no ‘peace dividend’ and the US actually increased the rate of encroachment.
This type of back and forth will carry on until the US is ready. Then it will get the EU to start first, as it did in WW2. The little hat brigade(LHB) are ramping up the media attacks to infuriate the US public so that there isn’t too much objection to them joining, exactly as they did in WW2. You can bet there will be another sweet deal for the LHB, similar to the Balfour Declaration.
