Re: “Putin invited to Peace Board” — Is unsurprising, as Vladimir Putin is obviously on the side of Israel.
Addressing the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, During the ‘12 Day War’; Vladimir Putin stressed the need to “stay neutral” because “almost two million people from the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation reside in Israel. It is almost a Russian-speaking country today. And, undoubtedly, we always take this into account in Russia’s contemporary history”.
I can’t understand this business about the peace prize. It has been awarded to some laughable candidates in the past such as Kissinger and Obama which has made it an object of ridicule. I also cannot understand how Trump can be so childishly keen to receive it; to keep on and on about it as if he deserves it. Well, bearing in mind some past recipients, perhaps he does.
If in the 20 years NATO has been telling Norway to get some dreamed-up Russian threat away from Greenland, Russia has done nothing to signal such an intention, what has changed now?
