New Poll Finds Hillary Clinton the Top-Preferred Person to Become U.S. President

On June 9th, Politico headlined “Poll finds Biden damaged by debate; with Harris and Clinton best positioned to win” and reported that, “former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the 2016 nominee who is not being seriously discussed as a candidate by voters anxious about Biden’s chances, is slightly ahead of Harris. Clinton leads Trump 43 percent to 41 percent.” “Clinton-Harris is beating Trump 43 percent to 40 percent, a four-point advantage over Biden-Harris.” The pollster, Fernand Amandi, who has done many polls for the DNC, “said he was most taken aback by the Democrat who outperformed the others. ‘I’m really surprised by Hillary’s strength,’ he said. ‘While some dismiss her as yesterday’s news and a candidate of the past, voters at least in this poll suggest they may be open to a Clinton comeback and that a ticket with Clinton as president and Harris as vice president is even stronger.”

Ms. Clinton as Secretary of state was especially proud to have killed Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, and told CBS News in an interview, laughing with joy over the victory, “We came, we saw, he died!” As a U.S. Senator, she had voted for the Republican neoconservative U.S. President George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq, and for every other U.S. invasion. Also, as Obama’s Secretary of State, she pushed through to success the coup that overthrew Honduras’s democratically elected and popular progressive President Manuel Zelaya and installed a military junta which led Honduras to increased drug-trafficking and to the highest murder-rates in the Western Hemisphere, and she also led the faction within the Obama Administration that advocated America to go directly to war against Russia in Syria by shooting down Russian planes there that were assisting the Assad Government’s war against Al Qaeda in Syria (who were trying to overthrow Assad). (That policy was called supporting “a no-fly zone in Syria.”)

So, apparently, the American public’s most preferred person to become President is the most neoconservative of all Democratic Party politicians — even more so than Biden himself is. And this was a poll among 1,000 American likely voters; so, it included Democrats, Republicans, and independents.

Ms. Clinton performed better than all of the other four prospective possible Democratic Party Presidential nominees that were presented: Harris, Newsom, Whitmer, and Biden.
