If you’re referring to Vovchansk, located in Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast, then it’s spelt with a V not an L. Also, and perhaps more importantly, it is located only 3 fooking miles from the Russian border. Yes, you read that correctly: THREE fooking miles!

Yes there is a Volchansk in Russia. However it appears that the Russian spelling and pronunciation of the Ukrainian border town Vovchansk, is also Volchansk.
As Wikipedia points out – “For the town in Ukraine alternatively known as “Volchansk” in Russian, see Vovchansk”
Alexander is correct to use the Russian pronunciation as once this is fully liberated it will remain a Russian town in perpetuity.
You missed the point entirely: it’s not about how the town’s name is spelt, it’s about the fact that the town is THREE FOOKING MILES FROM THE RUSSIAN BORDER. No wonder the collective West is collapsing, what with its collective lack of reading comprehension skills.
As you conclude Alexander, there will not be an independent investigation into the incident.However that does not mean that one cannot assess what likely happened on the available evidence. Before 2022, the materials for the explosive filler in European artillery shells was imported from Russia.
I remember reading a while back that a professor of Sanscrit was visiting Russia and he was amazed to discover that he could understand the Russians and they could understand him. So there are very ancient roots between the two cultures.
