Ironically, after the Syrian commanders had ordered the soldiers to offer no resistance, the terrorists hunted down and killed numerous soldiers. Now I hear that some of the soldiers are spontaneously forming resistance groups.
I watched a plethora of videos released by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (Al-Qaeda), murdering Alawites and Christians in Syria, who were riddled with bullets in the back, while face down in the ground.

Syria was under far greater pressure than Iran. Turkey to the north, Israel to the south, Jordan and Saudi Arabia quietly hostile, and the USA with its oppressive and illegal sanctions. There are sanctions against Iran too, but Iran has plenty of sea ports and powerful coastal defences. It also has land trade routes to Russia and India – to Russia across the Caspian or through Azerbaijan, and to India through Pakistan. Lastly, of course, Iran is a far bigger and wealthier country than Syria.
Well, if “HTS” + Erdy allow Russia to effectively maintain bases in Syria, and IF Russia provides a security guarantee to Iran, and IF the Russian military can effectively re-establish air defenses over Syria… then that will not bode well for the bullsh*t state/US Vile Empire’s orgasmic frenzied desire to attack Iran. Interesting that the USA should be supplying NBC protective equipment. I have seen occasional reports of Ukrainian forces using chemical weapons. There is an internal symmetry characteristic of US (e.g. CIA) operations: they seem to like accusing their antagonists of illegal acts while themselves performing such acts.
