Russia should maintain the position, that the EU obviously wants WW3, so it is better to do it now than later when they are more powerful. Perhaps it is time to acknowledge that they are at war with Ukraine, and not in a Special Military Operation. Ukraine has committed many actions to justify this and it would justify the destruction of the major Ukraine cities, causing a refugee crisis in Europe causing increasing internal divisions and unrest.
