Vance would have passed anything from the PDB like this to Trump. I dont believe for 1 sec Trump didnt know. That’s complete nonsense.

Trump intended to convince Putin to go for the Kellogg plan from day 1. He lied to the voters and Russians now know it.

Id bet this goes on until Russia kills the last Ukr.

It seems unfortunate that the Russian Memorandum did not start with a list of commitments initialed by Ukraïne in April 2022. It might also have been appropriate to explicitly state the number of estimated military casualties since April 2022. Not only would this have emphasised the fact that the current peace talks are a resumption of the April 2022 negotiations, it would also have revealed how beneficial the earlier deal had been, compared to the current terms. Even President Trump had pointed out that the April 2022 deal had been a great opportunity for Ukraïne.

Under such circumstances, I would expect the President of the Russian Federation to immediately raise the nuclear alert levels, and to directly contact the President of the United States on the telephone hotline, not only to request clarifications, but to insist that appropriate corrective measures be taken by both sides. We obviously cannot know that this was not done, but it will be very interesting to learn in the next few days what each side will announce about this… Read more »
