An excellent summary (as usual), and a heartwarming — albeit in my opinion unwarranted — cautious optimism that reason might prevail. I am much more pessimistic about it happening. So many top politicians of so many powers have invested so heavily and so irrevocably so much financial and moral capital in the Ukraine project that renouncing it would be tantamount to signing their (political) death sentence. As far as I am concerned, It is inevitable at this stage. I fully expect tactical nuclear warheads to be used, which could easily result in strategic nuclear warheads been used, and the end of civilisation.
You may be right, but I am inclined to think it won’t reach that stage. There are crazy neocons to be sure, but I can see a situation where saner heads prevail and refuse to go down that suicidal path. Instead I expect the West to disintegrate, the Europeans to finally understand that following America is a very bad idea, and the disease of Khazarosis to run its course, replaced by Isolationism which is the Traditional American Instinct.
Sweden’s NATO membership was approved by Hungary’s parliament on Monday, and Finland has already joined NATO. Most of Europe is now onboard with the Jewish neoconservatives plan for a hot war against Russia, and Germany was just caught red-handed by Russian intelligence, planing terrorist attacks against Russia. Mr. Mercouris is back again claiming that he ALWAYS has been so very skeptical for a long time [ONE DAY] that the Ukrainians have shot down Russian war planes in recent weeks and months which he has presented in rambling stories for weeks on end (has he conveniently forgotten??).
