Microsoft just can’t catch a break. China investigates the company for violating anti-monopoly legislation

As if pissing off Russia was not enough for POTUS Obama, China has also been placed in the U.S. destabilise and destroy blacklist. And while Russia may end up being a bit too much to handle for The Empire, China would most definitely be too big to take on, even for the massive ego and hubris of the neocon ruling class decision makers.

China, unlike Russia, is actually hitting the U.S. back for every move made against it.

Remember when Obama accused China of spying on U.S. corporations…yeah, China also remembers that incident as well, and is not backing down from its reciprocal response to Washington’s allegations made months ago.

The ITAR TASS news agency reports…

China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce has announced the launch of an anti-monopoly investigation of Microsoft Corporation activity. The relevant message has been posted on the watchdog’s official website on Tuesday.

“About a hundred of employees of the state administration in Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing, as well as in provinces of Guangdong, Sichuan, Fujian, Hubei, Jiangsu and Hebei carried out on July 28, 2014, surprise anti-monopoly inspections in four sales departments of Microsoft in continental China, in the headquarters of Microsoft China and the company’s offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu,” the release says.

As if Microsoft doesn’t have enough problems at home with it Windows / Office dominance coming to an end, Obama had to stir trouble in the world’s most populace nation and soon to be biggest economy.

Suspicions that Microsoft has being violating the anti-monopoly legislation of China arose in June 2013, when the watchdog began studying information obtained from Chinese enterprises over issues of compatibility, sales package contents and verification of files of the Windows operating system and its Office applications, according to the report.

It is worth noting that Microsoft is not alone, Apple is also on China’s investigation watch list as well. The pain will be pretty significant for these tech giants if Obama continues to pick a fight with China.
