I have a property in Tuscana, speak fairly good Italian and have followed Georgia, in fact have had contact with her staff informally to express some of my views. She is a powerful speaker and cogent with her message. She has overtaken Salvini, more than anything, because of that. Salvini cannot hold a candle to her in terms of her speaking gift. ALSO Salvini has been exposed on several occasions to be extremely low class in his public activities. It is a HUGE turn off to many Italians. Does she have this international experience as you say ? Being a good speaker alone doesn’t make a good politician. On the contrary, so many good speakers (Obama) turn out to be the worst offenders of humanity.
This war criminal tries to stay in the spotlight as some kind of free person, this guy, involved in Port Authur coverup, failed Australian Corby, & sent Australians to an illegal war in Iraq based on a :”LIE” , against the peoples wishes. .
Love what you said, Alex, but Russians are dogged, frugal, single minded when it comes to building something from nothing. Whereas, Italians and money…debt, corruption, banking scandals! Governments that change every five minutes. An Italian friend said to me today “Italians vote more often than they eat a hot meal.” And yet, as Alexander said, they are a very talented and creative nation. Their luxury goods and fashion market is second to none.
Meloni has already stated that China is a threat and that support for Ukraine will continue.
Von der Leyen must be having fits…Dismantle the entire EU and let each country decide for itself what is good/no good for the citizens.
