Marijuana Approaches National Legalization

Personally, I love marijuana and have smoked it practically every day of my life since being introduced to it in my sophomore year in college in 1964. It was a godsend for me, because it got me off of alcohol. The way I was going in my freshman year, I was headed for alcoholism. I’m eighty years old now, still in pretty good health and still smoking a lot, probably more than ever. I have never had any problems with my lungs. I grow it just for a hobby because I like gardening and being surrounded by plants. I do believe that it is virtually harmless and that it has many beneficial properties, both psychological and physical when used responsibly. I call that progress, both scientific and social. It has been a long time coming.
