MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow is calling on all parties on the Korean peninsula to show restraint, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.

“We regret to note yet another violation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions by the DPRK, which launched a ballistic missile that flew over the territory of Japan on August 29. We are calling on the opposing sides to exercise restraint, show responsible behavior, renounce belligerent rhetoric and bellicose actions,”

Zakharova said at a briefing.

She said all parties involved should start establishing dialogue without preconditions.
