The US is currently looking at a 36 TRILLION DOLLAR debt, that will significantly lower the standard of living for the US Citizens going forward. If Mr Zelensky is desperate, the last thing he will want will be a face-to-face interview with Mr Putin – especially with Americans looking on.
But I can very easily imagine him suggesting that Mr Putin be invited “for talks”, and kidnapped like Mr Maduro.

I am doubtful about the use of jet fighters like F16s to shoot down drones. For one thing, the difference in speed is too great. Compared to an F16, the drone is almost stationary, so the fighter will shoot past. The drone operator can dodge up, down, or to either side at a suitable time.
Also, while the fighter pilot is mucking about trying to get a bead on the drone, he is liable to be shot down himself.
I am a pilot and can tell you that unfortunately you are wrong. An F16 can easily shoot down a drone. An F16 can easily fly at any speed down to 250 knots. Perfect for shooting slow moving airborne target or even ground targets.

Er, “endless European wars”? Since its foundation, the USA has scarcely been at peace for half a dozen years. And every single one of its wars was a war of aggression.
Trump was never going to make the decision about attacking Iran — that was always Netanyahu’s prerogative.
