Mothan Davis AFB in Arizona has rows and rows of old US aircraft in mothball storage. 100s. During Afghan War the US recalled dozens and dozens to give Afghanistan. The Soviets thru 1993 built over 500 Bear Bombers. Even today, Bears are used for anti submarine patrols in the North Atlantic and Pacific today. If the Russians need to reactivate old Tu 95s it can in a matter of months.

START and SALT and other nuclear treaties require the nuclear bomber aircraft to be in the open without protection so all can see to prevent a surprise nuclear attack. It is time Russia used nukes on Ukrainian cities! They would surrender in an instant! I don’t think Russia has a choice anymore. However they must consult China and other US allies first as well as giving ultimatums to Ukraine, and NATO countries! It’s time Russia got truly nasty!
