That the Kiev mob should try to murder Mr Putin is further evidence of their insanity. Mr Putin is absolutely the best they could ever get, and they are extremely lucky to have someone so restrained and even legalistic in charge of Russia. If they were to succeed in killing Mr Putin, he would become a martyr as well as a hero; and the next Russian leader would come after them mercilessly with blood in his eye.
