If Russia is into blowing up gas/oil pipelines to cause more energy shortages, why blow up their own, when they are such an effective economic leverage on Europe (mainly Germany)? There are pipelines in the US & North America that could be blown up. Oh, I forgot. A lot of them are shut down, & they are mostly below & above ground not underneath the ocean in international waters where they can be sabotaged more surreptitiously.

Currently, for US & other classified citizens, there is an online auction for 6 months maturity US “Series 1 savings bonds” at 9.62% through October, 2022. It’s called TreasuryDirect.com, sucka!

I’m only referring the Treasurydirect.gov URL. But what else I’m not sure of is if it is a really dependable deal, in that they’re offering such an unrealistically high rate of return over a short period. It’s symptomatic of the “inverted yield curve”. So much could change over 6 months
