There is one great saving that Russia can make and that is on military intelligence. Why bother, when, yet again, the Daily Mail in the UK has spilled the beans on how bad a state the UK military machine is in? Apparently a £3.5bn flagship aircraft carrier (we only have two and one was already out of action) had to pull out of the latest NATO wargames because it had a rusty propellor.
