Jimmy interviews Miko Peled, an Israeli-American activist and former Israel’s Special Forces soldier whose grandfather signed Israel’s Declaration of Independence and whose father was a general in the IDF — yet who now rejects Zionism and advocates for a single democratic state in all of historic Palestine.

Peled explains that he broke from his family’s ideology after realizing that Israel was born from the Nakba, a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide against Palestinians, and that the IDF was never a “moral army” but an instrument of apartheid.

He exposes the myth that Palestinians have equal rights in Israel, detailing how multiple bureaucracies, secret police control, and water apartheid (Palestinians receive 3% of the water for 7.5 million people) prove otherwise.
