Israel Is Not the Cause of US Imperialism

Norman Finkelstein cautions against exaggerating the Israeli role in US foreign policy. The US and Israel are a “two-headed beast”, part of one and the same empire. Is the Israeli tail wagging the American dog? I don’t see much difference. It looks to me like one and the same dog. I have also been a “9/11 truther” since I saw the work of Richard Gage and the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth back in 2007. The World Trade Center buildings were indeed demolished with previously planted explosives. I never thought or said that “Israel did it”, and regarded those who said this as “anti-Semites”. I have always held that the Bush administration was primary responsible for 9/11. They did so with help from Saudi Arabia and Prince Bandar bin Sultan, who was so close to the Bush family that Bush Jr. called him “Bandar Bush”. There was never any solid evidence for Israeli involvement unless it was the “dancing Israelis” seen cheering and congratulating each other when the Twin Towers were attacked. If trues true, it only proves that Israeli intelligence had prior knowledge that the attack happen, not that they were directly involved. That is not a surprise. Many people knew there was going to be an attack and made a lot of money on shorting airline stocks. It was Bush and Cheney that engineered the whole thing. They did this because they wanted to launch a “global war on terror”, the GWOT, which began with Afghanistan and continued with the Iraq war of 2003. Destroying Iran has been a US objective since George H.W. (Poppy) Bush gave Saddam chemical weapons in the 80’s. I don’t know what Norman says about 9/11, but I find the evidence to be conclusive. So I do agree with him that Israel was not the main instigator of the Iraq war. But still, Israel’s interests were indeed served by that war and Netanyahu and Israel certainly did egg the Bush administration on, which can easily be proved also. Here I cannot resist presenting a theory about 9/11 which I have never heard from anyone else. Unlike the use of pre-planted explosives, which has been abundantly proved, I can’t prove this one, but for me it just seems very plausible. Who really was the “mastermind” behind 9/11? I don’t think it was Israel, and I don’t think it was Bush and Cheney either. I think they ware just agents of the real mastermind, and that mastermind was George H.W. Bush. My theory is that after he lost to Clinton in 1990, he spent the next 11 years setting up the 9/11 attacks. First he pulled all available strings to get his son nominated by the Republican Party and elected president against the feckless Al Gore together with his old crony Dick Cheney. He then instructed his son to let Cheney hire his cabinet, and the first thing Cheney did was hire Bush’s even older crony Donald Rumsfeld for Secretary of Defense. From there, Rumsfeld was able to make key Pentagon appointments and also to change the rules of engagement for airplane hijack situations to allow the two airplanes to reach the Twin Towers. I don’t believe that any of the four planes aloft on 9/11 were commercial jets with passengers, but I won’t go into that here. I will only conclude that many people whom I greatly respect worked for Poppy Bush when he was President, and I can only say that they could not have suspected at the time just how evil Poppy Bush was. He as the most successful criminal in the history of the United States. He was a shape-shifter. Nobody ever laid a finger on him, and anybody who ever tried is dead. That’s my theory, Take it or leave it. As Charlie Kirk would have said, prove me wrong.
