If the Supreme Leader, who has the final say on foreign policy and defence, says that he is leaving it up to “the officials” to decide whether or not to retaliate, surely it follows that he does not see it as a matter of vital national interest. This also underlines what Alexander discussed, the fact that to survive, Iran *must* develop and maintain nuclear weapons as a deterrent. The true lesson and learning for all governments (beyond NATO) with regard to the US attack, invasion, and occupation of Iraq, is that *if you truly do possess nuclear weapons* then your sovereign nation will not be attacked, invaded, and occupied by the Former United States of America. As Alexander mentioned, DPRK is an exemplary example of the foregoing.

I seriously doubt that Trump wants a big war with Iran (Russia, China, and North Korea) on his hands. Actions speak louder than words. The Zionest nostalgia to settle in the Middle East was a mistake.
How can the Russians or anyone else believe that the attack on 7 October wasn’t organised by Israel? Hamas is said to be a creation of Mossad and when you see how they floated gently on hang gliders into Israel, something people who had served in the army said was impossible, the official explanation doesn’t make sense. There is much more going on here than meets the eye.
