The drop in inflation was transitory, lol.
No central bank anywhere in the world….ever……has been able to beat inflation without interest rates being positive, ie interest rates have got to be higher than the inflation rate. In the case of the UK this would mean interest rates being 15%. Like it was in the eighties.
