Those F18s that the US casually lost in the Red Sea, cost $60m each. This is not a good look for the US MIC. I think Pete Hegseth stopped the weapons to Ukraine in case something ‘Made in America’ ends up doing harm on May 9th in Russia’s parade. The USA does not trust the Ukrainians/British or the EU (especially the Baltic countries, who seem to have had a resurgence of uber-Naziism) to not try and pull some stunt against Russia. Probably the weapons shipments will resume after Victory Day is over.
