Alexander, you are clearly not informed about how much pain the tariffs caused in China. They have caused almost no pain in the US to date. There is no doubt that when the negotiations are all over, the US will have much more fair trade policies than they had prior to the tarriffs.

China exports to USA are nine percent of Chinese exports. Contrary to comments and corporate media have seen real evidence of unusual economic impacts on China. While some Chinese goods have risen in U.S. that we deal with routinely, no more than covid days. After decades of study on a possible China conflict see nothing that leads me to believe China needs the US market any more. Yet, the USG needs key Chinese goods to keep the Pentagon armed.
