Impeachment Looms Over Trump After the Pentagon’s Leaked Nuclear Plans. Joe Kent on What Comes Next.

The CIA has not been subject to Presidential control since JFK was assassinated. Joe Kent is a former Central Intelligence Agency paramilitary officer. He served as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 2025 to 2026 and was number two in Tulsi Gabbard’s DIA. He was a strong Trump supporter who ran for Congress twice but was defeated by a Democrat. Trump’s appointment of him was actually one of his best choices. He has turned out to be a person of great integrity. He resigned over the Iran war in March 2026 because he had believed in Trump’s stated desire to keep us out of wars, and Trump instead got us into a disastrous war with Iran. It was Israel that was able to persuade or pressure Trump into attacking Iran. Trump could still end it, but he would have to go over the heads of the CIA, the Zionists, the Israel Lobby, the Military Industrial Complex and its pet 4-star generals, the neocons and the neoliberals. If he tried it, they would all line up to assassinate him. Kent thinks Trump “turned on a dime” against his antiwar campaign promises but he cannot understand why. One thing neither one of them mention is Epstein. I think Max Blumenthal did not call this war “Operation Epstein Fury” for nothing. In any case, the Trump administration is now talking about using nuclear weapons, and in Tucker’s opinion that is grounds for immediate impeachment. This would not be like the phony partisan impeachments of Trump’s first term. This is an absolute necessity to prevent destruction of our country and our species. But will our sold-out Congress do what needs to be done and is their clear Constitutional duty? We shall see.
