China brokered deal, Iran Saudis, the kind of “COUP” that the world needs, Chinese diplomacy at it’s best.

China’s effective mediation and stepping out from insularity is a show of good will, however the proof of the “peace” pudding will be in the eating. In particular: whether these new diplomatic relations will overcome the Empire’s disruptive policies. In any case, formal talks excluding the US are far better than ostracism or fighting each other. However in the case of Ukraine-Russia relations, I’m sure China knows that the diplomatic ship has sailed (notwithstanding their publicly-stated position), so the goals of Russia’s SMO must be achieved through force regardless of Ukraine’s / the West’s conditions for peace negotiations. Beyond that,… Read more »

It is interesting that the petrodollar is now coming to the fore. I have been puzzled by it for a long time. The standard interpretation of the that issue is that pricing in dollars is important. But some have argued that that is not true. Say, you want Saudi oil but all you have is Francs. No problem! Just swap your Francs for dollars and the problem is solved. Now, there really is an issue whose understanding is not trivial. In fact, it was the subject of this book by Prof. David E. Spiro: >>> The Hidden Hand of American… Read more »

No question that the Saudi/Iran agreement is seismic, my very thoughts when learning of it. No question also that there was some consensus on Yemen and the Iranian nuclear program. I am SURE that Russia was involved and could even be a guarantor of any Iranian commitment to curtail uranium enrichment. This is a huge development and a striking blow to the USA in the middle east as the protagonist here clearly point out. Also to Israel, thankfully. What I do not believe however is that Iran will completely abandon their aspiration to possess a nuclear deterrence. They in fact… Read more »

One point that is missing in this discussion of the PetroDollar, which could hardly be considered “on life support” due to recent actions by various countries to circumvent its use in trade, is the fact that it is enforced by US military power all over the world. The coercive and destructive effects of that formidable power used against uncooperative governments that refuse to relinquish their sovereignty by allowing the predatory Western capitalists to horn-in on their economies are frightening. Neither Russia nor China wants to take the place of the US as ‘Policeman of the World.’ WEF agenda such as… Read more »

US military power is a bluff. They can’t even supply shells to Kiev regime. What is keeping dollar afloat is traitors running central banks of vassal countries. This house of cards won’t stand long.

Look out because the West is gonna go bring back democracy to the Saudis if they do that. At least that’s how it looks but there is one strange thing. The Polish president recently had some shenanigans with the president of Iran. Which was strange at the time but now I am even more curious.  I know what he is saying about Iran is bullshit but why is Poland calling Iran if it’s true? What the hell is the move here? And btw how to not love SIkorski.   What?! When Iranian drones are destroying Ukraine, when a wave of… Read more »

10,000 calories of oil to deliver me 1000 calories of food, I eat oil. My coffee from Peru, chocolate from Africa, boots from Romania, clothing from Viet Nam, tomatoes from Mexico, Alaskan salmon, Korean cell phone, etc. are only possible by oil. I am not expecting electric powered oil tankers anytime soon, sorry Elon. There is not enough copper to take the planet to solar power. The Sun does provide a years worth of energy in a day or less if only we could better harvest it. The US navy has enforced global commodity shipping routes for almost a century.… Read more »
