Alex is right ‘these’ are conservative neoliberal economic policies – similar to Bush and Reagan and many other conservative (and far right) govts.
Alexander seems intent on labelling himself as anti labour (and more or less rubbishing Corban), pro conservative and the common economic narrative (mostly not factual) supporting business.
His economic comments are a mish mash of truth and fiction and purposefully ignorant – pretty much what a lot of corporate economists spout.
Yes we need to remove the ‘WEF collapse’ sanctions and Alexander needs to stay with the geopolitical, Gooday.
When we ( UK ) left the EU ( I voted to leave ) I thought this is now our chance to join the real world, IE; Russia China and like minded countries, alas everything was thrown away when the politicians joined the US in those idiotic sanctions, We (UK ) could have been on cloud nine, now we are left wollowing in the quagmire of debt and poverty,( just the ordinary folk of course), but then, when did politicians ( of all flavours )care bout the prolls.
Professor Danny Blanchflower says of Liz Truss “her disastrous economic policies so far, I have said, they are in ‘total disarray’ but this estimate seems inadequate as pronouncements get worse daily, I have never in my fifty years of doing economics seen anything as bad as this.”
