Germany (and the EU) needs to be denazified. So a few decades with no jobs and no gas for heating will be well deserved.
It’s not as if Germany is being run by Germans. At least it hasn’t been for decades (does the presence of US military bases matter/change anything?). Moreover, didn’t Russia say at least once that an impoverished neighbor isn’t in Russian interests? (How) would it not end up as fertile ground for more US/NATO/CIA agitation? What am I missing?
