This war has always been a Russo-NATO war, where the former Ukraine just happens to be the theatre where it is been fought, and Friedrich Merz’s pathetic ultimatum to Putin, is absolute proof of this.
Maybe Friedrich Merz is unaware that Russia is the pre-eminent nuclear power on the planet, which could turn every town and city in Germany into a Glass Parking Lot in less then 10 minutes, therefore only Russia could give an ultimatum to Germany, and not vice versa.
Incidentally, the German Taurus KEPD-350 cruise missile is relatively slow moving missile, that can only reach Mach .95 (1170 kilometres per hour) , which means the Russians could very easily shoot them all down.
In contrast, the Russian MiG-31supersonic interceptor aircraft can travel at Mach 2.83 (3,000 km/h), which is much faster than the slow moving subsonic German Taurus cruise missile, and the Russians would not even have to waste its valuable S-400 surface-to-air intercept missiles, to shoot down the Taurus cruise missile, as Russian Aircraft’s could easily intercept and shoot down the slow moving German Taurus KEPD-350 cruise missiles.

The German V2 (Vergeltungswaffe 2) was certainly superior to German Taurus KEPD-350 cruise missile, as the V2 had a 1,000 kg warhead, compared to the Taurus 480 kg warhead, and the maximum speed of the V2 was 5,760 km/h compared to the Taurus 1170 km/h.
Incidentally, the German V2 was the first man made object that reached space, as on the 20th June, 1944, a V-2 reached an altitude of 175 km (109 miles), making it the first rocket to reach space.
