There have been thousands of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel for years, some of whom were children who threw a few stones; in most cases for typically vindictive reasons and they have never been put on trial. The Israelis recently said that torture was certainly allowed and sodomising prisoners with various objects was perfectly OK with them. Goodness knows what the women and girls among them have suffered and I wouldn’t have thought the Israelis would like to see them liberated so that they could tell the world abut their mistreatment.
It is quite possible that the Israelis will accuse the Palestinians of breaking the ceasefire so that they can take up their bombing campaign again. Won’t be the first time they’ve done something like that.
Ukraine is also to blame. Unfortunately, Ukrainian culture has a notion of entitlement that the West has been exploiting for their agenda. The neo-Nazis made use of this same notion for their own purpose. Naturally, this is not shared by everyone in the community, but like in Israel, there is a significant percentage of the population.
Starmer is just showing the world how stupid the UK is; proving to the US that Britain is is worth nothing in the “special” relationship, except as an ass-licking, grovelling, partner when the US wants to commit crimes in other peoples’ countries; a country worthy only of contempt!
