I think these were used during the time the IRA was active in the UK. I remember a young lad picking one up and losing an arm and, because he had poor sight, he held it too close to has face to see what it was and lost the rest of his sight.

I first heard about the Us air-drop of 30,000 meals in Gaza from Alex in his report. He was incredulous at 30,000 meals…when 2.2 are starving in that outdoor prison. Later, I heard a reporter on a Milwaukee news program say that the US dropped 90,000 meals. She did not report that 2.2 million are starving. I did an online search for the story, and most news sites reported that 38,000 meals were dropped by USA. Also reported that air drops have been done by other aid organizations and countries.
