Obviously, those who brokered the ceasefire and hostage/prisoner exchange (NOT the USA who merely told Israel to agree to it because of their global unpopularity) were able to get 150 women and children prisoners to be swapped for 50 Israeli women and children hostages because either 1/the Israeli estimate of number of Israeli hostages was a wild exaggeration or b/ it was pointed out that Israel has almost 10,000 Palestinian prisoners held without trial or, in some cases, reason, and the spotlight would be turned on that if they haggled over the number to be released.
