2023 was the year of of the QE 2 curse. After her passing at the end of 2022 , the “annus horribilis” which afflicted her after Diana’s untimely demise, has now been visited upon the collective West. If only the curse would last for a single year……..
It appears that Russian goals in the Ukraine are being achieved and I doubt that anything will happen to change that.
In the Middle East, the goal is to remove Iran as an obstacle to Greater Israel. How this plays out remains to be seen. The question would be the Russian and Chinese response to an all out American attack on Iran.
Hopefully, the Russians are patrolling the Black Sea airspace with carrier-killer missile-launchers, and the Houthis have some hypersonics up their sleeves.
