Don’t negotiations take time? Did the US expect everything to be wrapped up in a couple of months? Apart from Witkoff there is nobody of any level of competence in the US team and even he can’t be expected to wind things up quickly. Especially when NATO and the strong forces that control it are doing their best to sabotage them.
