European politicians, after the stopping of the USAID slush funds that were supplementing their incomes, the peace agreement mooted by Trump and J.D.Vance’s scolding, are reeling from the realisation that they participated fully in their own downfall. They have, through greed and hubris, ruined their economies, bankrupted their countries, lost cheap energy and damaged their societies. Only the Eastern European countries can allow themselves a pat on the back for refusing to contribute to the massacre called the Ukrainian war, and for pushing back against mass immigration.
