Egypt Surprises

Gulf Monarchies and Jordan have either been bribed into submission to the US-Israeli agenda, or — as in the case of Emirates — allowed to thrive and prosper as a clearing house for US-Israeli criminal and corrupt financial operations. Dubai for example acts as a hub for illegal gold smuggling,  where bin Zayed acts as a mafia Don on behalf of the west. That’s typical of the Gulf Monarchies, where illicit trade is the life blood of US /Israeli and collective west black market finance in the gulf.

Such activities and participation in western-backed scams – for example the US-backed Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) con job forced on Europe  – have historically caused Qatar, Oman, UAE, Saudi and Kuwait to largely participate in the “Global petro-village”  as described in my 2004 article Iraq the Road to War, where the Monarch’s petro-village is dominated by the western collective. As such, Dubai particularly has seen an explosion of wealthy Bad Actors flocking to it from all over the world, to purchase mega-millionaire mansions, apartments, and flats.

The foregoing arrangement has worked well for the former United States for many decades, and of course Israel has been allowed to take its cut of the Monarch’s swag too, particularly leveraged when Trump’s son Kushner crafted the so-called Abraham Accords.

If not “the odd man out”, Egypt — not a monarchy like the others– has been something of an outlier in the US American sphere and scheme to dominate the region. Not autonomous, Egypt has accepted US bribery for many years via the Camp David Accords, to the tune of many billions annually. Egypt also hosts a General Motors car plant and has a firm relationship with Boeing. These incorporated ‘poker chips’ and billions given to Egypt every year, maintain Egypt not as a vassal to the former United States but certainly subservient to it, as president Obama proved in 2013, via the CIA Coup d’etat there.

But Egypt has surprised, where the US-installed dictator Sisi somewhat deviates from the US Imperial plan [1] perhaps due to popular opinion, and via influential voices in the background.. example, former MP Dr. Jamal Zahran. The US-Egypt split is not without precedent, since Biden threatened to stop US bribery to Egypt during the Obama years, albeit only a threat, but still of concern to Egypt.

Egypt’s recent cosy relationship with Turkiye has surprised the former United States. Egypt and Turkiye have reconciled in the face of western hubris to end the oil blockade on Libya  — Libya being yet another nation that the United States has destroyed. Whether Sisi is pivoting back to Muslim Brotherhood influence — which is as significant in Egypt as it is in Turkiye – is unknown. But the hunch here is that Sisi hopes to remain in power. And as the rogue terror axis of the US / Israel either threaten or bribe Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood leverages its power in the background.

Another alarming development for Washington is Egypt’s accession to BRIICs, which Egypt attended as a member for the first time in Russia during 2024.  Washington’s current dictatorial regime has already stated that BRIICs must be suppressed.

Despite the 2013 US CIA-backed coup in Egypt, over the years Egypt has expanded its industry and influence somewhat beyond the US hegemonic, allowing Egypt to act tangentially independent of US-Israeli influence . As such, Egypt has firmly voiced its opposition to Zionist control of the Rafah Corridor which Israel still dominates and attacks today, despite reports otherwise. In response to Israel’s provocation, not just in the Rafah (Philidelphi) corridor but also in the occupied West Bank, Egypt has deployed tanks along its border with Israel, and also in the Sinai Peninsula.

But the elephant in Egypt’s room is Washington’s dictatorial edict to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt, an US Imperial decree that Egypt has so far defied.  That deportation, beside being a war crime in violation of all international law, perpetrated by the US-Israeli axis, abrogates the right of Palestinian people to self-determination on land which Israel has effectively annexed — a point to which the government of Egypt agrees. Trump’s edict is crazy enough that Egypt’s leader has refused to meet with Trump about it.

The real surprise? —  if Egypt decides to break with Washington’s dictatorial rule and actively oppose the US-Israeli regime’s genocide and “ethnic cleansing” in Palestine, which is destined to resume. That’s because the cease-fire deal that Trump supposedly forced on Israel is not being honored by the former United States, with regard to the hostage release, where the US reneged on the staged release of hostages that it formerly agreed to. Likewise, the Israeli prime minister engaged in a “secret deal” with Otzma Yehudit radicals in his government to prevent the next stage of the cease fire from occurring, and to resume Zionist war crimes in Gaza, so that Netanyahu may remain in power.

In conclusion, there is a burgeoning realization, globally, that the Greater Israel project is not only dangerous, but also deadly, and that it must be forcibly ended. If the dictator in Washington hopes to force that confrontation at the behest of his billionaire Wall Street masters — being a conflict between the US, Israel and the rest of the world — that will be a conflagration like no other that the world has seen so far.

And if Egypt exerts its will in that regard, that will be one big surprise indeed..
