I am now fully convinced the West is trying its best to start WW3. According to the Military Summary, Trump just insulted the entire Russian nation, by saying he appreciated Russia helping the US win WW2. This is the worst insult any US President could possibly make against Russia. The Russian people will enraged when they hear of this. The pressure on Putin to escalate is now going to be intense. Trump is either the worlds biggest fool, or he is intentionally trying to start WW3.
At times he does sound like the world’s biggest fool. I don’t think he wants to start WW3. It would mean he would get less attention, second fiddle behind news about the war.

Trump said, in his inauguration speech that, in the last 8 years, he has “learned a lot.” He obviously didn’t learn that sanctions (taxes or tariffs) don’t work. Threaten Russia with market/financial restrictions, after two years of Russia turning sanctions into profits, and Putin will laugh.
