As Mr Mercouris points out, talk of “stalemate” in Ukraine is wrong and disingenuous. But it is exactly what one would expect of the Western powers that be. When the situation is unclear, they claim to be winning. Naturally, when the Russians are winning they claim that the situation is deadlocked. Unfortunately for the opinion shapers, they have no power outside the West. The Russians and Chinese, certainly, pay no attention at all to Western propaganda and have even ceased to be open to negotiation, because they know the Western negotiators always lie.
