$29bn from the USA to Ukraine, when their own people are dying from the worst environmental event since Chernobyl. Britain, it appears, has committed £2.3 billion in military assistance to Ukraine so far and has pledged to match that assistance in 2023. GB in 2022 underwrote a loan to Ukraine of $1.5 billion and in 2023 a further loan from the World Bank to Ukraine of £74m was underwitten by Britain.
