Yes, Vagen-connect, not Waggin-necked. Another German name that is frequently mispronounced is John Mearsheimer. I suspect that the correct way to pronounce it is Mears-heimer. Not Mear-sheimer as most people say. The name seems to imply a person who hails from a place called Mears. Possibly referenced Moers, near Duisburg.

He has to effectively persuade NATO countries to always send him more ‘weapons and money.’ That leads Ukraine to making war for show, rather than to win. Russia is relentlessly bleeding Ukraine of manpower. Russia having greater numbers of troops, has always been the decisive factor. This has been known to both sides before the war began.
