Isn’t it a bit insulting to send a couple of Jewish property developers to negotiate with high-level diplomats from other countries? Does the US not have a diplomatic service? I know that ambassadors are usually appointed because they’re big donors to the party in power, but is there nobody else who is qualified to negotiate?
