For sure we are heading into a precarious time, but I for one, am glad to see China taking the gloves off. The US as lauded it for far too long over the rest of the world. Urgency and anxiety are evident in Mr. Mercouris’s analysis, reflecting increasing tensions in international relations. I think the major reason for all of this is the enormous military build-up by the US and the expansion of NATO instead of realizing a “peace dividend” after the end of the Cold War.
