The forum gets bigger every year and attracts the best and brightest from a variety of fields

Every year individuals from the worlds of business, media, international security, the arts and sciences, hi-tech industries and government gather in Russia’s ‘northern capital’ for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The event is international in every sense, attracting top leaders in their fields from every continent. This may surprise some as western mainstream media generally boycott the entire event, even when President Putin speaks annually at the forum which is held in his home town.

One of the more interesting technologies on display are the robotic ticket salesmen who will greet visitors to Russia for next year’s World Cup.

Now check out some first-hand photos taken exclusively for Russia Feed.
