Russia just proved it doesn’t need aircraft to destroy the U.K, or any other European Country using conventional weapons.
This video is out of date and irrelevant
All fairly correct and convincing, leaving only one big question: why bother? The UK poses no particular threat to Russia, and can best be ignored.
This berk Felton seems to be trying to work up war faver and panic. But Russia has shown no trace of hostility or aggression towards the UK. If the moronic UK government provokes Russia enough, they can wipe us all out within a few hours.
The similarities to WW2 that Felton tries to evoke are nonexistent, except that WW2 was another war in which Britain never needed to be involved.
With the exception of nuclear weapons, the UK is an insignificant and impotent military power. It is betting its entire existance on its nuclear deterent.
Mr Felton’s calibre [sic] can be assessed by his suggestion that extra money might be spent on 2 more aircraft carriers!
Wouldn’t it make the most sense to stop being part of the group of countries seeking to provoke Russia into a major world war? After all, the government if Russia is sane, responsible, and only reacts to existential threats such as loading Ukraine down with weapons with the intent of doing to Russia what Iraq, Syria, Liberia, and Afghanistan were practice runs for. Starting (and loosing) wars to take resources, rinse and repeat… How much of the plunder would Great Britain be apportioned by NATO anyway if in the impossible eventuality NATO actually won? Recall, the “West” hasn’t won a… Read more »
