Can President Trump Beat the Israel Lobby?

President Trump has admitted the Iran war was a loss, and everyone understands that he was pushed and lied into it by Israel. This gives him an opportunity for political redemption. He has seen that his only way out is to blame Israel. This has the great advantage of being unquestionably true. The Israel Lobby owns most of Congress and they will do anything to stop him. But Israel is rapidly becoming very unpopular with the American people. This and the economic disaster being caused by the closing of the Strait of Hormuz outweighs the power of the Israel Lobby. He will have to fight them tooth and nail. If he does so, and succeeds in breaking the Lobby’s control over our government, then he can go from zero to hero. People like me, who just a week ago were condemning him to hell forever as the worst president ever, are now cheering his effort to free our government from Zionist influence. He just might be able to regain his former popularity if he plays it right. It might be a long shot, but it’s his best bet, and he just might be the man to do it.
